Babybird explores the tension between seeking lightness and feeling weighed down by life’s relentless demands. In the months leading up to this show, I juggled illness, an unexpected move, family visits, and the daily grind of parenting—all while trying to paint. Instead of an escape, this work became an act of rebellion. Layered, raw, and unapologetic, each piece reflects the chaos, defiance, and fleeting moments of joy that come with carving out space for oneself. Painting is my resistance, a place where no one tells me how to be.
Fine Art Paper Prints

400gsm cotton/polyester blend canvas with a matte surface and natural tint
*Additional blank image will be added as a border for stretching around stretcher bars at your local framer or stretcher.
All Sara Winfield prints (paper and canvas) are sold unframed and arrive rolled in a tube.
