Women, Thinking explores the tension between seeking lightness and feeling weighed down by life’s relentless demands. In the months leading up to this show, I juggled illness, an unexpected move, family visits, and the daily grind of parenting, all while trying to paint. Instead of an escape, this work became an act of rebellion. Layered, raw, and unapologetic, each painting reflects the chaos, defiance, and fleeting moments of joy that come with carving out space for oneself.
